Only a few days left until spring! Now the days are sunny and the hiking season is about to begin!
Saturday I explored an area of Monte Grappa that I had never seen, the Valley of Leaves, the name already makes me think of a fairy-tale place.
When I left home the machine was at an outdoor temperature of 23 degrees Celsius, how nice!
I parked the car at about 900 meters above sea level and walked along the path.
There was still snow in some areas and the grass was still yellow.
In the sun it was good with a shirt, but in the puddles of water I found the water was frozen.
I am the simplest and most obvious thing that can be found in the mountains but the pinecones always put me in a good mood and even this time I took a picture of it! :D
As usual, I was calm and lonely, there was no one and nature was all for me.
The area where I was standing seemed to me ideal for taking a flight with my drone, so I pulled it out of my backpack and enjoyed flying over the landscape!

After the short flight, as a battery lasts 3 minutes, I continued the walk to a house surrounded by nature.
There was no one around... I guess it's nice to be here in the summer and eat a good grilled meat!
As I walked I even heard the sound of a spike beating on the trunk of a tree, we could hear the echo spread in the valley.
I had to walk on stretches of frozen snow and risked falling because this time I didn't have boots, I was more comfortable... I know it's not a mistake... but now I'm here to write;)
The only anthropic noise I heard was that of an airplane that flew not too far away.
At one point I find an artificial tank where the animals are watered and so I took advantage of it to take a picture with water.
The lawn was something lovely, there were thousands of flowers at my feet, a sight for my eyes !!
They are snowdrops, they were white and pink.
Then there were also these blue flowers, but I don't remember what they are called.
Here's where I was going! To see the Valley of Leaves I had to get over that top!
One step after another I got up in altitude.
I met this bush of flowering heather, the first I see this year.
As I walked suddenly I ran into many fallen trees. Really so many!
Someone had already started cutting them to clear the road.
Turned the curve was even worse, dozens of fallen trees.
When I was at the top and there was little left to see the valley, I remain incredulous in front of a gate...
Naturally I didn't let myself be intimidated and I found a point to go beyond and continue the adventure :)
Every step I took the landscape before me opened...
Difficult to photograph in such a way as to capture the whole landscape, so I decide to use the drone and see the valley from the sky !!
What a beauty, I can't wait to do the editing of the drone!
Meanwhile you have to settle for photos! :D
At about 5 pm I had to walk back to the car.
The sun was going down and the shadows grew very long.
Some sections of the path were on the grass and walking on flowers made me feel guilty...
I was almost at the car... one last photo as to greet nature.
