As one of the best coffee producing regions in the world, also famous for its nickname of a thousand coffee shops, the coffee shop business in Aceh has increased rapidly. Many coffee shops that have sprung up with various concepts, ideas, even has a unique and attractive destination.
One of the newcomers in the vortex of the coffee shop or café business in Aceh is dayah kupie. So, in this article I want to write a review of this newcomer coffee shop, starting from the name, the menu provided, location, along with the atmosphere offered by Dayah Kupi.

As a newcomer, dayah kupi certainly not widely unknown by consumers. This is very different from the coffee shop zakir that I reviewed in a previous article, zakir which has been famous and has several outlets in Banda Aceh.
Seeing from the name, it is certainly a little different from the names of other coffee shops, especially newcomers coffee shops. Most of them prefer to name their coffee shop with a modern and westernized name.
The naming of this coffee shop is not without reason or philosophy, the word "dayah" on the name of this coffee shop because of This coffee shop business is a business owned by the Dayah Madinatud Diniyyah Nafisatul Huda (Medina), as information, the word dayah has meaning (pesantren) or a place to study Islamic knowledge. The purpose of building this café is to advance the economy of Dayah Madinah independently, considering the operational costs of dayah and all kinds of student needs require funds of up to Rp80 million / month.

Here there is also an outdoor area, there are two choices of places to relax the first is a regular chair with a table and the second is saung which we can use to be more relaxed. Saung is very suitable for use by families, besides there is also a children's playground.
Located in a strategic location, have delicious food and drinks, dayah kupi has become one of the favorite coffee shops even though he is still young. For information, Dayah Kupie was officially opened on Saturday, December 22, 2018. The inauguration of Dayah Kupie was also attended by the regent of North Aceh, and the great ulama of Aceh.

The two photo spots I like most at dayah kupi are, the first is at the entrance. There on the wall is a giant wallpaper which displays photos of Aceh's great scholars. another one is on the roof, yes I haven't mentioned this spot. From the top floor, we can clearly enjoy the beauty of nature, in the form of vast stretches of rice fields. If lucky, we will be presented with the beauty of the sunset.
