Greta thought that she was going to a year-round playground. Xavier knew better. What’s worse he set the whole damn thing up!

Greta has always been easy to persuade and Xavier need not really try! He knew this, Greta was in love with him. Without even the slightest hesitation she would do anything he asked even if it did not make sense.

Xavier always assumed that what he felt for Greta was the same love in return. There is a scale to love, from family to partner. The love that Xavier reciprocated was not the same that he received for if you love your partner you cannot manipulate the relationship as he does to Greta!

Albert's hair was the color of poached Salmon and completely captured Xavier‘s attention. “Why is that fascinating me?“ Xavier thought to himself. “Stranger yet” he thought “why do I wanna run my fingers through his hair?“

Albert catching the odd gaze from Xavier and noticing him mumbling to himself yelled over “howdy neighbor“. Albert was brand new to the neighbourhood and trying hard to start off with good relationships as his current living situation is a lifelong dream come true. In that moment the realization for Xavier’s fascination with Albert‘s hair hit both of them like a freight train. Xavier‘s jaw nearly hit the floor, staring back blankly in a dumbfounded realizational shock.

Xavier heard a door slam, it was Greta and she was coming home drunk again! Barely even acknowledging the two men outside she stumbled into the house. “Again, hey?“ said Albert only getting a slight nod from Xavier in return. With his typically jolly tone Albert emphasized “come have a beer she ain’t going to miss you tonight!“

Was the first time Xavier entered Alberts house and quickly he realized it was entirely a man cave. Noticing the ring still on Albert’s finger Xavier figured that his wife must’ve passed away. Albert seeing Xavier gaze started talking about his ex-wives, explaining the story behind both of them. His ex-wives were just like Greta, beautiful and loving but unwilling to look at their own problems.

“Third times the charm right“ blurted Xavier not sure what else to say. Albert with an ear to ear smile placing a hand on Xavier‘s knee and making that deep persuasive eye contact stated “I can’t wait to introduce you to him!”

You see Xavier had always been curious about Albert and sent Greta to go have fun with the girls and stay sober knowing the sober part would not happen. Xavier set the whole thing up but did not realize it till that hand was on his knee. “Did I want this” Xavier thought to himself as he reached over and ran his fingers through Alberts hair......
