Cafe Blue, Irish Town, Kingston, Jamaica.
Nestled in the hills of Irish Town, Jamaica is the prime location of Cafe Blue. The brand has other locations in Sovereign Center ( a shopping mall in Kingston) as well as in Montego Bay. But the real deal is Cafe Blue in Irish Town, Kingston. The view and air make it the perfect spot to "hold a medz" relax and think about things.
Cafe Blue is not only a Cafe, but they have their own brand of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee called....Cafe Blue:). At the cafe they sell the coffee in packages but you can chill and enjoy the scenary while sipping a cup and indulging in some sweets. It is like an irie Starbucks. ( Oh, they also have Starbucks in Jamaica now BTW 😒 ).
The thing I like the most at Cafe Blue ( besides the coffee) is the cheesecake. It is really hard to find good cheesecake here in Japan and the ones I have tasted in most countries does not compare to this. ( I highly recommend it). The other sweet stuff on the table ( well the cake like) is sweet potatoe pudding. My cousin ordered that, in fact he was the one that put me on to cafe blue back in the days as he is a coffee lover and seller.
The view you see from the terrace of Cafe Blue is part of the Blue Mountain range. Now how cool is that? Sipping Blue-Mountain, looking at the Blue-Mountain. Another good thing about Cafe Blue is that just down the road there is a famous Ganja spot ( I won't say the name ) but when you are in the area you will find it easily by just asking or going with someone in the know. So you can get your medication and head to Cafe Blue, buy a cup and light up while looking at the view. If you are into that kinda stuff.
Here is wifey in those leggings I hated so much ( and probably the only pic I have of the outside of the Cafe). I think she bought them at H&M in Florida before we went to Jamaica. I told her straight up she looks like a Japanese Dacehall chick ( nothing wrong with that ) but I guess she didn't wanna hear it. But then someone else said to her, "I thought you were one of these Japanese Dancehall girls, but you are actually really nice". Hehehe, I have never seen those leggings again.
The images below are not my own but I wanted you to get a good understanding of what this place is like.
Imagine Sipping a cup of Blue Mountain Coffee here with a lover or a friend:)
