In life we reach a point where we need to become more productive and put our tasks in order, we want to improve our habits and we even need an alarm that reminds us that we must comply with specific things. That's what Habitica is about, a game created to have growth and improve in our real life.

It can be said that Habitica is an RPG videogame that consists of making quests created by ourselves, these are divided into three types, habits, daily and to do's.

Habits are those things that we want to improve or change, these can be repeated more than once in a day. Example: be positive, help someone, study.

Dailies are only completed once a day (as the name implies), are these things that we know we need to do daily. Example: walk the dog, watch a movie, wash dishes, etc.

To do's can be tasks that we need to complete, example: develop a project for a class, wash the car, write an essay before some deadline, etc.

In the world of Habitica, you create your own missions that are related to you only, therefore, you will decide the difficulty of each mission. The difficulty will influence the amount of experience and the amount of gold received. A more detailed example of this below:

Habit quest made by me: Walk my dog.

As I am a sedentary person to walk my dog is something that I consider that has a medium difficulty, then I will introduce that difficulty in the game. So when I complete it I will receive the gold and the experience as a reward according to the difficulty I introduced.

Here the important thing is, to be honest with you and accept when you have failed to accomplish something you should do in a mission. If you fail the life of the avatar will decrease as if a monster had attacked, therefore the game is an incentive for you to try to give your best every day.
