My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2019

Today wasn’t too bad. I didn’t get as many steps as yesterday, but I still felt better today than yesterday and the day before.

Yesterday I won the double reward from Actifit, so yay for that. :-D

It’s my last workday of the week, so I’m glad to have the next three days off. Weather permitting, I’ll go do some walking/running outside and possibly get some nice photos to share.

I also need to go shopping for clothes. Most of my shirts and pants are starting to get quite worn out.

I’m still using the #cc tag. So leave a comment and you’ll receive a comment coin.

I think it’s a fun project, and the hope is that the comment coins will increase in price so that we can really reward comments properly.

I don’t really have anything out of the ordinary to report today.

You still made more steps as I did. I use it mainly for posting and am no longer in the mood to drag my phone with me and hold it while walking.
Shopping will for sure give you more syeps!

I usually have my phone in my pocket, except when i'm at home. So It misses a lot of steps when I'm at home.

With me it is the otherwise round. As soon as I go out I forget or the battery is empty. Lately I took it with me, morning gardening and it only counted 15 steps. That makes one think. Happy Sunday and a !BEER for you. 💕

or it will be farmed to death causing it to go into rampant inflation?!

well... it seems to work with other coins like TRDO and BEER although I prescribe all of these to fade off in value as the supply has to keep increasing to keep the basic functionality running?!?

Then again... a little hype will do wonders on these thin s-e markets!

edit1: tried exploiting the bot and it's way too easy atm and I keep issuing new CC for myself with every comment... posting-and-deleting before the bot responds did not yield any tokens though, so at least it's not possible to invisibly farm.

edit2: I spoke too soon, actually received a token for the deleted comment, too!!

edit3: oh look I am getting more CC for every edit, too... welllllll

edit4: did my civic duty and proposed possible solutions for the farming issues on their most recent post looks like they're from Germany, too. Interesting.

If you check their info on Steem Engine, you'll see that they already have the maximum supply in circulation, so it looks like there can't be inflation.

I can see people leaving useless comments all over the place just to farm the tokens. I think they have something in place or something planned to correct this behaviour. They might block abusers from receiving comment coins. I think I read something about it somewhere, probably in their Discord or one of their posts. I know that they already block a lot of automated commenting like steemitboard and other services that leave automated comments all over the place . The comment coins are meant to encourage meaningful engagement.

It looks like there's someone trying to snipe possible curation on the comments from the commentcoin account. If you look at all the comments, there's a 1% vote on every single one of them. I'm not sure how lucrative that could be. I upvote their comments once in a while to help out, but I give a high enough vote so it won't go to dust. There's no use in wasting voting power on something that'll go to dust, and I don't want to strain the bunny either; he's got his boots full as it is.

wellll... technically I guess that's correct, lets rephrase to "increasing coins in circulation" but it still creates the same ever invreasing selling pressure, without any sinks for the token, eventually all you can do is sell?!

I really like the idea and there's a lot of nice fluff talk around it on their blog, but what they have running so far doesn't convince me very much.

The sniper is actually a fanboy I think, rallying for others to do the same on cc comments in their comment sections. Not sure, he might not be aware of the dust rules?

I'll follow their progress, though. I'm always looking for subtle ways to encourage some engagement on my posts and the platform at large.

Yeah. I went to commentcoin's last post and sort of gathered, with my limited comprehension of German, that the "sniper" probably doesn't know anything about the dust rule.

I should really get back into learning German. It's the first language that interested me back when I got into learning other languages, but I only learned the very basic until I got interested by something else.

At least I know "Ich möchte etwas essen". You know, the important stuff.
