You need intensity to win the weight loss game. This is not something you can do in a wishy washy manner. Without the intense need and drive to succeed, you are not going to win this fight.
I work with people ALL THE TIME who tell me they will look at something I sent them “later.” This would be during the tomorrow that never comes.
I say:
- you are not getting any younger
- we only have today
- your kids will not be little forever
- your weight was not gained overnight
You need to have a burning desire – a fight in you that does not end. A goal in mind of being healthy. A dream of a better you.
- But something is on Netflix!
- School is starting soon!
- The holiday is coming up!
I can’t provide your motivation. I can only help you use it. When you contact me crying in the middle of the night this is the moment you need to hang onto.
When I was losing weight, my thought was that “I am going to lose weight or die trying.” Nothing was out of bounds. I would try everything until something worked.
The heartbreak for me is that the “thing” that finally worked was so simple, so easy, so sustainable. After all those years of miserable obesity, my new-found thin life is not even hard. I have no longing for the old days of food and fat. Instead I crave and enjoy each healthy meal.
- Eat less crap
- Eat more nutrition
- Exercise 10 minutes every day
- Get more rest
I rarely reach anyone with this message and I will never stop trying with intensity.

I lost "Half My Size" eight years ago by using natural methods. No tricks, just doing a bit better every day. I started on October 10 one year, and did not give up. Four years later, on October 5th, there I was - thin and healthy for the first time in my life. You can do it too!
