Your descriptions are just so fantastic, some really vivid scenes here, and you balance the art of describing something without stating exactly what it is, and it still coming across so very well. The swell of music, the sensation of the carnival/fair rising and slipping away is just beautiful, and the slow morphing of her seat into a saddle is not only so well told, but a very appropriate way to build on this same element of the first half.
