I'm not spending anything more on this game I'm afraid. The payout coming in what I'm assuming is a steem engine token, is like saying "hey guys we'll pay you in something that has yet to show any value or utility. Deal with it."
I'll deal with it by taking my profits, walking away and powering them up, thanks 🙂

Profits? The game does not require you to put money in to play. If you want to produce more in-game currency at a quicker rate you are free top spend some money on the game. It is not an investment.

You missed my point m8. I already made profit. I put the right amount in to get return 3X my initial investment.
The problem with a token is that the value will only be driven by the utility. Steem has value because of its economy and utility. Sure you will be able to swap future token for steem... But no one will know how much it will be worth against steem until... The future. And the value will be driven by how many people play and how much they put into the ecosystem in either steem or future token.
I've been worried by the economic modal of drugwars from the start. So I choose to exit now when I'm up on the initial amount of steem I put in. You make your own choice. 🙂

I'm not understanding why you would stop playing then? If you have only made crypto with it, why stop? I see your point. It is impossible le to know if a company will be successful, when investing in stock, let's say, there is no guarantee the company will be around. I have faith that Futureshock will be successful and be around on the steem blockchain for years to come. I also think people are blowing this all out of proportion. It as if no one who is playing this game has ever spent money on a game.

Steem value is guaranteed? I remember joining the platform and it being at $2.15/steem, nothing is guaranteed. Do you support fundition and steemit inc? They seem to support Futureshock.
I see your point, there is risk. Yes that is true. The future coin is still steem based is it not? Being a coin built on the steem blockchain? All of its value currently comes from steem.

Not the point at all. Steem already has a value. What if you end up earning $0.0001 in this new shitty token but invested $500 thinking you were going to see some returns in maybe 3 or 7 months? Many people did this because they trusted the drug wars team not to fuck them over (which they did, and this is the reason for this whole thread, which you seem to either be missing or avoiding).

Why is it a shitty token out the gates tho? Not avoiding anything, observing all the discourse. When I spend money on Clash Royal I dont expect a ROI. What if it turns out this shitcoin becomes worth more than steem? I think they are building a gaming platform where all crypto currencies can part take, if I'm not mistaken. However it will be built on steem, utilizing SMT. Maybe Im wrong, I'm not above admitting it when I am. It is too early to make assumptions of intent. Fundition and Steemit Inc. support them, I feel like I do too.

It is a shitty token because it has no value. Imagine that you give a banker your gold and he gives you a certificate of that amount of gold. He didn't force you to give him that. It explains exactly what makes a token be worth something. Future token is worth nothing right now, and it'll be worth very little for a long time. In Spanish we have a saying: "meter gato por liebre" (giving someone a cat instead of a rabbit). It's basically a switcharoo, a kind of scam very common around the world (especially in China I believe)
