howdy again tali72! Exactly, someday we may find photos or other evidence about her, IF she made it back. Historians are divided on that fact. There is also another remote possibility. She was in San Francisco in 1906, that year they had a major earthquake which killed thousands of people. IF she was there she could have been swallowed up or killed in that!
Maybe that's why no one ever saw her again. Not likely but possible.
