I have a question that beautiful grape plant, did you get it by cutting or did you buy it?
A few weeks ago I got a cutting from a mother plant to have a similar small plant, I dipped it in water so that it had roots but it died after a while, so I wanted to know if you did the same process?

I was just reading one of your posts. It’s great that you’re able to work with farmers and help to diagnose and present solutions to problems they face with their crops.
I’m fairly new to gardening. When I saw those grapes in a pot by the flower shop, I was intrigued and thought it was perfect for my small balcony space. I thought too that it would somehow be easy to maintain especially since grapes were already on. It was however challenging and required much attention. I fought with keeping the plant and grapes “alive”. I lost several of the grapes. Some almost turned “raisins” while green. I’d be happy if it survives and produces more fruits next year.

I don't know much about grapes, I have only seen the vineyards, but I think that if you take it out to a bigger container and put it in a place where the branches can support, the grape plants can grow a lot, I have a friend who has a small vineyard in his apartment.
So I recommend that, take it to a place where it has more space and I bet you will have a good harvest all year round.
Consult with someone who knows, because from that plant you can get some cuttings to have more plants, that is a genetically equal copy of the mother plant, so you would have many more grapes.

Ideally I’d like to maintain it in a pot but if the conditions aren’t favorable, I may have to reconsider. Yes, I’ll consult someone and see how best to go about it. Thanks again.
