I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that you find an easier way than the 6 months in one place, then 6 months in the other, for 3 years or so.

Thanks my man. Me personally, I don't enjoy life in the USA, and my income versus living costs are exponentially worse there than in Cambodia. We could easily live the whole three years in the USA to get our passports, but I like knowing we can spend 6 months every year out of the country without slowing down the path to citizenship.
This makes exploring life in other countries like Albania part of the year, very enticing. But once the three years is over and we have USA passports, we can just buy tickets and transit any random airport like normal human beings.
That will be a glorious day!!
Those glorious days will come. No doubt about that.
Meanwhile I'm sure you will manage to find a lot of you along your path too ;>)
