Hello Hive learners community, it's another Sunday for a creative show off and I'm not skipping out on it once again... I started two weeks ago and I'm trying my best to keep bringing in something each sunday as it makes me do more for myself too.
I'm a lover Disney movies after kdrama so it's no surprise that my first entry to the creative Sunday was the song "Moana" a Disney movie. I'm here again with another Disney movie song.
For this Sunday, I'll be doing a cover of the song "Speechless" from the movie "Aladdin"

I've seen the movie Aladdin in different format, the animated and non animated format. Same storylines, same feeling and even better singing in the non animated one for me. I no longer have the movie in my possession but I remember seeing it over and over after my first watch.
I doubt if many haven't seen this movie wether in the animated format or not, it was on trending for long when it was release although I didn't see it immediately until I came across it easily to have it on my device. I do see the movie as just another kind of "Cinderella or Snow white" storyline but it definitely had a more real storyline than them.
No, I don't mean the magic being real... Anything aside the magic was a lot for one to learn from most especially from the female lead (The Princess) and then from the male lead who had three wishes to use through out the movie... His last wish was definitely one not to expect and in reality, not many would want to go for it.
As for song, it is about the oppression women do have to face in a world of power, they are believed to be weak and be kept quiet no matter the situation at hand... The lead girl is a Princess but felt helpless when her demeaning uncle kept making her father shut her down anytme she tried to make a contribution towards the betterment of the country.
While the song is sang to focus on her thoughts and what was happening to her in the movie, it also hold meaning to all the women out there to speak up and not let anyone shut them as if they had nothing meaningful to say for progress. Of course, we will be careful to be mindful of our words when we are confident to get a chance to speak as well. That is what I could think of while I listened to the song and performing was more fun haha.
So do enjoy my cover of the song and I would appreciate the feedback on what you think about it. Pardon my stressed voice, had a long day but couldn't say not to join the Sunday initiative. You can find the lyrics of the song here
