How about @rarej, @tanjakolader and @justinparke. Which do you prefer in Suriname 🇸🇷 the river or the beach.
As for me beach or river - mi haffi reach. Beach vibe in Japan is not similar to the vibe in Ja. But I found BiwaKo to be quite nice . It had the music and food vibe and the water was surprisingly quite nice. Awaji beach in Sumoto was very good, trees , food and clear water but lacked that jumping vibe. Good place to read a book though.
Easy choice since beaches don't really exist here, so blackwater is the easy winner.
@justinparke Oh yeah my bad. I forgot Suriname is not an island country like Japan and Jamaica. What does the coastal side of the country look like?
Hahahaaa so... I like the beach, because it's different and the water's clear. And then again I like the cold creek fresh water opposed to the saltiness of the seawater.
Our coast is densely forested, which helps as a defense against natural disasters. There is a beach far north, where I went 20+ years ago - I think I was still a toddler - but it's not safe to swim. I remember seeing a leatherback sea turtle.
I should ask my parents more about that trip as I remember so little from it.
Interesting. So there is actually a beach. Thanks for sharing @tanjakolader !ENGAGE 10
