Give thanks @belemo. Well, I bet one big difference is it's easier to hustle in Nigeria. Here, everything has gone bureaucratic, and very few people work from plying their crafts and skills. I must admit I miss the user-friendliness of the developing world, especially Cambodia, but we make the most of the place.

The languages developed here by the African slaves and their descendants contain more African roots than any other western languages. As far as I know, the majority of African-rooted languages here come from Benin and surrounding areas, so there are probably some Nigerian roots in the languages and cultures too, as Benin and Nigeria have so much shared history. !ENGAGE 15

Yeah I think so, since we share a border with them. Although they're a french colony, I heard they also have some Yoruba culture embedded in their dialect
