Feliz y bendecido día hermosa comunidad, hace algunos días tuve el honor de participar en un evento llamado la Zona Afro realizado en la Ciudad de Caracas Venezuela, este tenia como objetivo principal el desarrollar diversas actividades que englobaran y resaltaran nuestra cultura afro.

El evento se desarrollo en dos días en donde habían actividades de principio a fin, se inicio con diversos conservatorios en donde se exponían las situaciones y vivencias al ejercer el modelaje, la animación, el maquillaje, la actuación, la música, el estilismo, la danza desde el ser afrodescendiente en toda su diversidad.
The event was developed in two days where there were activities from beginning to end, it began with various conservatories where the situations and experiences were exposed to exercise modeling, animation, makeup, acting, music, styling, dance from the Afro-descendant being in all its diversity.
En el intervalo de cada conversatorio había una actividad escénica de agrupaciones de baile, como lo es la danza tradicional que estuvo representada por un proyecto maravilloso de niños y adolescentes con diferentes condiciones, entre ellas el autismo y el síndrome de down sorprendiendo a toda la audiencia con su danzar y el reconocer las diversas manifestaciones tradicionales de nuestra Venezuela. No puedo dejar atrás a las diversas agrupaciones que bailaron el afrodance, este ultimo me daba curiosidad incluso investigue donde daban clases porque es algo que me llamaba mucho la atención para bailar, es un genero muy sabroso, pues ¿qué creén? tuve la oportunidad de participar en una clase abierta de este genero, quede totalmente enamorada.
In the interval of each talk there was a scenic activity of dance groups, such as the traditional dance that was represented by a wonderful project of children and adolescents with different conditions, including autism and Down syndrome, surprising the entire audience with their dancing and recognizing the various traditional manifestations of our Venezuela. I can not leave behind the various groups that danced the afrodance, this last one made me curious, I even investigated where they gave classes because it is something that called my attention to dance, it is a very tasty genre, well what do you think? I had the opportunity to participate in an open class of this genre, I was totally in love.
A demás de toda la parte cultural también había una gran feria en donde el diseño Venezolano, productos para nuestro cabello afro-rizado y la gastronomía estaban latentes, muchas exponentes realizando trenzas, y compartiendo el cuidado para nuestro cabello.

Al llegar la tarde noche del día domingo se procedió a realizar el cierre el cual fue el repique de tambores con diversas agrupaciones, este se inicio echándonos el cuento de los nombres de los tambores y con que materiales se realizan. Luego continuó el repique, allí es donde pude bailar, con sinceridad me sentía en gran confort, realmente estoy agradecida por este tipo de eventos, pido a Dios por que se continúen realizando.

Considero que fueron dos días para compartir, enlazar, celebrar, reconocernos y hacer familia, coincidí en este gran espacio con compañeras de baile de hace algunos años, también con gestores sociales que motivan y desarrollan diversos proyectos referentes a nuestra afrodescendencia.
