Determination. Let's talk about it. Whenever you see someone successful, having it all, living it up, you're probably like: man, that person has it so easy being all successful and stuff. What you may not see is the road that person may have had behind them. Possible hardships that were major blockades on their journey. While not all successful people have done this, many have gone through struggle sweat and maybe even tears to achieve what they have achieved.
At some point in time that person may have been at the same part of the road you are now on. So why are there not more successful people? The difference between people who have "made it" and others is that one word we started this blog with. Determination.
That fire burning in your soul for whatever you're passionate about. Some of us give up on that fire, even though the fire never stops burning. If you ever had a passion for dancing and wanted to become a pro, but decided to do something else, you will still bust a wicked move every time a sick beat drops. The born entrepreneur may have a 9-5 job working for somebody, but will always find some kind of side hustle, if not more than one. Determination, passion and focus are the key ingredients to stay on top of that fire and let it burn, lighting up the road ahead, the road to success.
I took the picture at during some trip somewhere. Always fascinated by pictures of moving fire, as they're very mesmerizing. To go along with the message of fire and determination, I'll end with the Reggae tune by Morgan Heritage, "Dont Haffi Dread". I know, this tune is more about the Rasta culture and how anyone and everyone can be apart of it, as long as their heart is in the right place. But as a kid growing up I always heard this one sentence in the lyrics saying "no water can put out ya fire". Not knowing that that "ya" was "Jah", as in the almighty one.
However, that sentence I understood perfectly fits not giving up and trusting in the fire that burns within you. :)
