Hi, Everyone,.... It's great to be here on Steemit, becoming part of a great community. My name's Dennis, but I’ve gone through a few online personas throughout the years, such as: D.W. Mitchell, UCDesigns, DutyBound, as well as a few others.

Note: (All images in this post were created by me, either full or in part. All materials used to create my work is properly licensed. I own the copyright to the finished work.)
A Little about me. I’ve been playing with digital art, photography, and writing for nearly 30 years,… jack of all trades, master of none. More of a hobby really, but I have made a few digital products in my time, published some writing, did some animation, made logos for friends, and so forth. I’m pretty excited to have found this platform where I can showcase a lot of different work in one nice blog spot. Also hoping that at least a few Steemians (I believe that’s the right word) will find my work interesting enough to follow and upvote occasionally.

My work tends to revolve around landscape photography, Sci-Fi / Fantasy Digital Art, and Sci-Fi / Fantasy Writing. Of course, having kids, I have been known to create the odd children’s book or poem too. In my coming posts, I will be showcasing certain works, adding stories to them, giving short tutorials on how they were created, and hoping to hear what the community thinks of the work I've done,… maybe adding their own stories to the images I've made.

I found out about Steemit by accident, stumbling over a few youtube videos by the likes of @joeparys and @brandonfrye. Imagine,… a place to post whatever you’d like, find like minded Steemians, and get rewarded for posting, voting, commenting, playing games, and more! This was something I couldn’t resist!
Like anything new, I’ve been fumbling around with the interface, trying this,… trying that,… just making my way through the system. So far, I have my page up, this post written, I figured out how to buy SteemMonster cards (really looking forward to that), and the list continues to grow with all the different DApps I’m finding. Also a big fan of SteemPeak, loving the interface’s look and feel!

Anyway, that’s how I came to be on Steemit. Looking forward to adding posts, surfing the blogs, watching Dtube, playing SteemMonsters, and much, much, more. For all who stopped by to read this post, thank you. Hope to see you again on a few posts of mine that are yet to come.
Have a great day, and thanks again for stopping by!
