RE: #needleworkmonday | Dennis the Menace Stripes

Love the stripes! And you can do amazing things with short rows - either two-dimensional like @jamethiel's blanket or three-dimensional like short row heels in socks.

Though I don't really like wrap & turn, I prefer the way I learnt it, what's called "German short rows" in the English speaking knitting world: Here's a photo tutorial about it, Verypink Knits has a great video showing the technique. I think it's more simple and even more "invisible".

Yes, I think I use this method for socks and I hadn't noticed any holes appearing :) but interesting to learn other techniques sometimes. I'm just hoping @marblely sees my need for help and creates a crocheted yarn pouch with eyelets 😂🙏💪👍

Haha that will be an idea! Ooo i love how soft the piece looks @shanibeer! Oh you know what, I have watched some youtubes where crocheters use a shoebox and make slots to separate the different coloured yarns for mocha bags like this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Up_-T2g3NaA. Maybe this can help a bit?

That's a good idea! I will still think about the pouch, though, because of travelling - a shoebox would be okay at home, but a bit bulky for travelling :)
