That's a wild type native on Crete, Greece. Those are volunteer plants that grow every year at a part of my olive grove and I just harvest a few seeds and spread them to a larger area! Beautiful and very beneficial, indeed! I didn't even knew that there are hybrids, it is nice you gathered all that information on a post!
