I have done it different: I have a job and I didn't invest so much 🙂
But if the Steem doesn't raise or Steemit will not give me some profit sometime next year I will also have to think it all over.

No, things are not that bad, but because my Steem are a lot less worth than when I have bought them, it is not good.

I think, they are even quite below 20 cent, but I haven't bought for a while. I bought for about 20 up to 35 I think.
