Yeah, let’s discuss the solution to all this. I can’t think of any tbh. Many have tried to change the culture. It’s easier said, was there ever good culture on steem previously or it’s always been bad?
Internet is still young, things will get better.
But it will most likely be mainly because of better technology advances in society. Human relationships and global networks will continue to be nuanced, as there is limitless ways at looking at every situation.
The main stuff that needs to be improved is better trending so good quality content can get it's proper rewards, the current system really has no true reward pool for high quality content that is way beyond the average work. A worker should know if they put in an amazing effort that they will be properly rewarded.
A worker should know if they put in an amazing effort that they will be properly rewarded.
But that’s not always the case right?
Like someone mentioned earlier on this post, there are tones of people making tutorials or any kinds of videos online but nobody cares, because there’s no commercial value (or marketing efforts, or whatever, you know what i mean).
I wonder if steem could have niche: to better reward people putting in great effort. Changing to the linear rewards was supposed to do that but it apparently failed.
