Thanks for the mention although I don't feel there yet--video quality wise and to be honest there is so much I wish I could do on dtube but I'm limited in so many ways, however, that's no excuse for posting subpar videos which I have posted occasionally.
Speaking about dtube. I started using the dapp about 3months ago. I experienced similar issues with uploading using my mobile phone so I searched around and found this dtube third-party client on google playstore which has worked relatively well for me. So if you use an Android phone I will suggest you check it out.
About quality... I think this will always be an issue now and in the future and given the subjective nature of this issue, it's almost impossible to see eye-to-eye on this matter with many people. We cannot blame dtube for the poor quality of content on their dapp and really this is not exclusive to dtube, the blogging sphere is bamboozled with low-quality content as well. Basically, the average steemian just want to accumulate some steem. Ideally, I shouldn't be posting every day because I believe for one to create quality content time is a major factor to consider. Although I can still argue that if one spends a sizable amount of their time each on something they get good (better) at it. However, unlike YouTube, we don't have that much diversity. We just have a small number of dedicated dtubers and though we might not produce the best contents we keep the platform active and I believe once there is more competition content will improve. However, personally, I feel so much positive things have happened and is happening on steem because of dtubers. Take for example the Twitter campaign, and other dtubers who are using their resources to make steem a better blockchain.
Like I would say: this is not a perfect blockchain. I have come to terms with that. However, we can do better and personally that's what I try to do. Hopefully, by the second half of this year, the quality of my videos will drastically improve. Everything I think is lacking on dtube or steem I want to bring to platform. If I feel people are not writing good articles then I write better articles and show them how it is done; if I feel people are posting low-quality videos I make better videos. I bring the quality I want to see and that, in my own opinion, is how change startes--one man/woman at a time making conscious effort to be better.
