Hello Steem World,
Just in case you might miss the hype, Steem hits $0.5 and it's considered the highest so far as of today. Will this hold and continue to rise? Or just another bull trap? Don't take my advice, because, for me, I'm gonna continue to HODL.
Is it a good sign for us to start celebrating this uptrend? Or is it just too soon?
Well, I'm gonna leave that question for you to decide yourself. Personally, looking at the development of the blockchain, I see the trend is still building. Thus, it's a time for me to keep on building and hodling Steem at this very moment.
Since it's a building phase, I rather provide opinion on what is happening around this period of phase.
You might notice, this couple of weeks, the community has been pushing Steem very hard on to be listed on the trade markets as much as possible. I lost count on which market the community are striving hard to be listed and I believe the latest one was this, Steem listed on Pro Bit Exchange
The community pushes it very hard to make sure Steem can be listed as many exchanges as possible to the extent where the community are united to bring this campaign on Tweeter. This shows that the Steem community are really united to bring benefit to the blockchain. Awesome right? Where else can you find a community this strong?
I perceive that we will see more campaigns on trying to get listed on other exchanges. Make sure you do your part and join in the campaign as well.
Game DApps have been really rocking the blockchain. The recent addition of EpicDice to the game dapps will be excellent to all of the Steem powered Dapps. It seems the game is the top contributor to the hikes of Steem. Of course, Steem Monster and Drugwars are by far still dominating the game arena of the blockchain. My bet is that game apps will soon sprouting out more and this is going to be really great for us.
Of course, the game plays an important part in the blockchain considering Steem itself is a social media blockchain. Thus, having more games is vital to ensure that the ball is kept on rolling and Steem is a place to stay.
Steem community has really upped the game following the introduction of Steem-Engine.com. With this development, I'm pretty sure it's going to really benefit developers and businesses for having their own tokens. This will narrow the gap between Steem and businesses.
Perhaps you might miss out, sustainability doesn't only realize here in the Steem World. The Steem community also has been taking Steem to Twitter. Led by nathanmars and theycallmedan, together with the Zweeet40 team, they are really bringing the awareness thereby what we call the famous Twitter Hustling. We are inviting more hustlers to join in and shake the Twitter world. So far, it's really making the hit.
One thing I noticed is also bringing value to the blockchain is the initiative on the retention side. User leaves more than they come. Thus, the community again pushes to help Minnows with lesser SP to Power Up to ensure that they continue to be active and determined. This is one of the many great initiatives made called TenKMinnnows
Now, back to the main question on top, should we celebrate Steem hits $0.5?
For me, a BiG YES!
But not because it hits $0.5, but because of the very reason explained above.
The community has really proven that to be a Steem community can really unite together to achieve the blockchain goals. The community has proven that Steem blockchain deserves to be celebrated.
