My joy keeps growing each time I am aware that I am saved and that Christ lives in me. I hope you feel such vibes too because salvation, which I hope you too have received comes with joy and this prayer is what David prayed in Psalm 51: 12
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Focal Scripture
I John 3: 1-3
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Memory Verse:
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for “new heaven and a new earth, where in dwelleth righteousness, 2 Peter3:1-3
God is our father. He has adopted us in Christ as his very own. This is a high honor and privilege of our salvation. As the children of God, we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Those of us who submit to the kingdom reign of Jesus, our names have been enrolled in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We are waiting to the new heaven and the new earth.
We know that we are the children of God?
Having received the Holy Spirit which is the seal of our salvation, we are led of Him and this qualifies us to be called the sons of God. We are no more servant but sons, we are heirs of God through Christ and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16-17). Because we are his children, we should please him in everything we do (Hebrews 2: 9).
We have the spirit of God inside of us to lead and guide (Romans 8:14). We have the spirit of adoption to cry Abba Father and we should not be afraid of anything (Galatians 4:6).
God’s ultimate goal in making us his children is to save us forever as we conform to the likeness of his son, Rom.8:29; John14:1-3
The Growth Process
Galatians 4:1-2 tells us that as long as they refuse to grow into maturity, they are not different from slaves who are under tutors and guidance until they grow to a stage that is set by the father, they cannot be given their portion as children. Babies cannot be given strong meat or food but only milk. No baby Christian has the right to possess great wealth of God’s heritage, (Hebrews 5:12-14).
Note that it is only the father who determines the level and know you maturing, otherwise, your properties are under the control of other people. Mature Christians are those who have trained their senses to carefully distinguish between good and evil through continual practice of righteousness and obedience. They love righteousness and hate iniquity. They daily renew their minds according to the principles of righteousness and obedience (Romans 12:1-2). These are the ones who see things through the eyes of Godly of the Holy Spirit, they see things in God’s point of view and are able to receive the solid food of God’s word and grow towards the full stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).
The mature Christians are those who grow in grace and are advancing towards spiritual maturity and growing up in all aspect into Christ and are filled with the fullness of Christ and God. They are longer children who accept every wind of doctrine” but who instead have the knowledge of the truth by which to reject false teachers. They are holding and speaking the revealed truth of the scripture in love and are living a life in righteousness and true holiness.
