I just found this and ironically after reading the article on the China and India male population crisis. I do think there is order in nature and one way or another our disruptiveness will be balanced out, but it's not going to be pretty. I believe humans go in cycles. Every few thousand years we seem to have had advanced civilisation collapses. The Sumerians and could Atlantis have been real? Yet we don't seem to learn in the long run. As soon as we advance and think we can do better than nature, we put ourselves on the path to our downfall.
