I took a walk around the neighborhood and guess what? I made it all the way! Now, there are three ways to walk around the neighborhood here and that is the long way, the short way and the medium way. I took the medium way.
I took this first photo at the nursing home entrance just up the street. They have a maintenance crew that maintains the garden areas. It was looking a little rough only because our weather here is still cold with some warm days in between and still a lot of rain. Been hard on the flowers but I got a couple of photos to share.

I also saw these little stones that someone had placed on the stone fence. I checked for any messages on the backs but there weren't any. I left them there for others to see and admire.

I love walking by this next house. The gentleman takes great care of his yard and usually has some very nice flowers but still too soon for that it seems. He put up this nice looking swing set-up a couple of years ago. I think it is for mostly decoration.

I was a little sad to see that this tree was cut down. I don't know why but possibly it was weather damaged. I would've asked if I'd seen the person who owns it. I know her to say hi and have small talk but she was not out so I continued on...

The next place I stopped to take some photos is where my daughter use to live so I didn't think the person would mind if I walked up to the house to take some photos and he wasn't home..lol! I'm on good terms and always respectful so I knew it would be okay. I still do not have any daffodils coming up in my yard so it was nice to see some in the neighborhood. They were a little droopy but, again, our weather has not helped!

This is the area that I walked to come up around the block. Right behind these houses is a sound barrier wall for the 695 beltway. It is still loud so I'm sure the neighbors here have special windows that also help block the traffic sounds.

I saw these planted along a sidewalk by a house along the same block. Now that I think about it my walk around probably was three or four blocks in total.

This is the back end of the nursing home so I was slowly making my way home. Part of the area is fenced off because it is boggy-ish and is for safety reasons. It was also right about here that I thought I wasn't gonna make it back without calling my husband to come get me. He told me to call if needed but I really wanted to try to make it back without having to do that.

Here is the other side entrance/exit to the nursing home so I'm getting closer to getting home.

Yay! I, finally, made it back without having to call for help. I would've if need be but was happy I made it back on my own. My health has been a series of ups and downs on a daily basis so it felt good to make it all the way without having to call for backup. This last photo was taken right next to my house and I thought it a cheery bright way to end my post!

Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk!!
