I am currently on the plane writing this and the first thought is ultimately deciding how connected I will be this week. I am unsure about the connectivity I will be able to have this week so I am thinking my engagement will come in block of time while I am connected to local wifi where we are staying. There is no way I will sacrifice the momentum I have built in posting every day as well as my daily activities with @actifit and @steemmonsters. Those will be the minimal actions I will be taking during this trip but I am also expecting to take some time to get other things done that I have had on my list for some time.
I have a stack of magazines, articles, and two books that I have brought with me to get through before coming back. That includes a number of subjects that I hope to develop some posts on! I haven’t had the time to read through and research them in more detail. Some may be somewhat dates but the fact is that they remain relevant for the cryptocurrency economy in the short term. I look forward to sharing some of these thoughts with the community. Some are even outside my area of interest and related to networking and engaging which I continue to aspire improving myself with for the community.
I have a number of my periodic articles coming up as we end the month and quarter soon so I will be working on some of those details. For example, my Q1 Steem Experience report will be interesting to see as the amount of new resources available for our community have improved during the quarter. Also, the amount of projects having activity done on their tokens (future SMTs) has also increased and something I am trying to being to everyone’s attention given the opportunity they have to evolve and promote the ecosystem. My @actifit journey will be interesting this week as I look forward to exploring the area while going for some early workouts this week. I hope not to forget to update the Dapp on a daily basis. The reminder has been great so far!
Notice that I have not stated where I am going! That was purposefully done here because I want to take a page from my great Steemian friend @roleerob and do a travel type blog for the first time! I will not be going to many cities but within the city, I have heard of some great places to go from both a historical and adventure perspective. I am not sure how to approach it at the moment but I will research it around the ecosystem this week and head back to @roleerob’s adventure of a couple of weeks ago to learn and apply. I am sure he will assist once he sees this! I am excited for this as I think this is a great way to share our experiences around the world!
Another new experience that I will be taking some time on is participating on the relaunch of the @ocd and @ocdb projects! It has been a while coming and my interest has grown to the point where I was awaiting anxiously for the announcement. As soon as the post dropped, I got involved and was encouraged and excited by the feedback from the community. I will be actively engaging on the Discord server to learn my way around and get off to a start soon thereafter. A big thanks to @acidyo and the community being built there as it is one of best ones seeking to grow the value of our content but also the ecosystem! I look forward to keeping you posted on this one!
The only thing I have not been able to get done was my deployment of capital into the market. Capital is ready to go but I have not had the time to finalize the allocation and execution to move the assets accordingly. However, I see it as an opportunity to prepare and do some more homework to ensure the assets and the amounts that wil be deployed when I get back. It means that the changes will not be made in time for the Monthly Crypto Portfolio report but I will use that post to share my expected moves. I am sure that feedback will be interesting to get as many around the ecosystem are starting to come back with sharing their thoughts on the markets as sentiment has improved.
Lastly, my monthly SBI giveaway needs to get done so I will be actively seeking those users this week! The list is shorter this month as the Steem balanced has remained low given SBD continues to be printed but I am sure I will have enough for the transaction this month. I may also look to buy some more Steem as it seems to be holding up pretty well up here with some good potential going forward. Of course my priority will be the experience with the family so if you notice some decrease in engagement from me; don’t worry, I am not going anywhere! At the very least I will be ensuring my Voting Power continues to get work done; especially on the #tenkminnows and #introduceyourself tags!
Having trouble already with some connectivity on my devices so it may be a long week for me!
