I saw on Twitter that today, January 3, is the day that Satoshi Nakomoto mined the first block of Bitcoin 13 years ago. This is an amazing piece of history because without that event and the success of Bitcoin, we probably would've never ended up here on Hive!
But it got me thinking, Bitcoin launched 13 years ago, WTF was Tako doing during the launch of Bitcoin in 2009?
Well, Tako wasn't the same blogging, NFT collecting, BTC hodling guy that you all have become familiar with.
In 2009 Tako, was just the swaggiest high school junior you could ever meet.
Back then I drove a green 1998 Monte Carlo. And in that Monte Carlo I had to be playing that Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y "How Fly" Mixtape that I downloaded and burned to a CD on my parents Computer lol
I played Linebacker for a 1-9 2A Highschool football team, But I was a MASTER at Madden NFL on Playstation 2. I actually think that was the year that I got invited to ESPN's Madden Nation Tournament in Texas. But gaming wasn't a thing yet, so my parents weren't about to help me get to Texas to showcase my talent.

I was girl crazy as you could imagine. Never got any dates. Guess they didn't think I was as cool as I thought I was, but whatevs... lol
2009 was just an amazing time to be alive. If only Satoshi could've made a tumble post telling me to mine bitcoin, I could've been a billionaire by now... but I'll settle with being a Hive Dolphin!
