A COMPUTER LITERATE WORLD

in #education7 years ago

Illiteracy is basically the lack of knowledge. How can this knowledge be gotten? Learning is the best way to overcome this disease. Of course, they say illiteracy is a disease and this has been proven many times. The time is near when computer illiteracy will simply be illiteracy – this is when everything is about computing. What will be your fate by then my reader? Will you be literate or illiterate?

Computer appreciation is the foundation of the knowledge of computers and computing. This is introduction to Microsoft office tools such as word, excel, access and so on. If lucky, you can learn desktop publishing too which are all necessary. It doesn’t stop there and I have to be truthful to you; you have just started a very long journey but you need to choose your path wisely. I am not advertising Computer but putting it to you that it is very necessary in the real life.

The knowledge of computer and the branches are not only needed for people who studied the course. This is a common mistake most students, especially the fresh graduates, make and they eventually fumble. Instead of staying at home to look for jobs or being idle, start with computer appreciation or improve on the knowledge you have. I know you have this sweet excuse to give me about money but that won’t work, there are so many free courses/skills online you can learn and get certified I know it’s hard to believe but I will tell you.

The world is truly evolving and it is the knowledge and value that you have that will help you through. This is why you have to keep learning till your breakthrough come. Some tech skills you can actually learn online include Programming, Big Data Analysis, Data science, Virtual Reality, Blockchain Technology, APP Development, Artificial Intelligence, Project Management, Business Process Modelling, Digital Brain Space, IT Service Management and many more.

The evolution of technology will create competition, advanced IT skills will give you that edge. You need to find the one that will catch your interest so you won’t get bored and quit. Winners don’t quit, quitters don’t win. Now to the main focus, there are online sites where you can learn these skills at your comfort. Imagine munching chips or popcorn as you learn programming, it makes sense right? These are the few trusted sites you can learn tech skills:

With these online sites, you can get the skills you need to scale through the world of joblessness. Life is easy but easier if we take advantages of the offers life has presented to us. From the comfort of your room, get certified. To compliment whatsoever you have seen on the sites, you can go to Youtube to watch more videos and get more ebooks. Let me tell you a secret; you don’t have to go to school to study Computer science or IT to start getting these skills. You just need to make up your mind and follow through. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Thank you.
