Hello friends of the hive Music zone community, my name is @jesus-son and I welcome you to the week 161 round 2 of the hive Music festival hosted byt this amazing and thriving community on hive. It is my earnest desire to convey to you not just a sweet melody but words that are capable of healing every heart and giving comfort to the soul.
Like last week, this week I also bring to you a cover of an Italian song which has inspired me and which I wish to share with you. The song is titled "il Signore è il mio Pastore" which means, 'the Lord is my Shepherd.
This brings to mind what the Lord Jesus said in the gospel and specifically in the gospel according to John chapter 10 from verses 11 to 18. There Jesus speaks in a metaphorical way referring to Himself as the True Shpherd who cares for His sheep.
He used this analogy to describe His relationship with His disciples. He is not like any hired laborer who cares only about His wages but He is that laborer who is more interested about His flock and even in the most scaring danger, He stands to protect His own.
This song which I present today is one that describes that relationship which the Lord has with us His beloved ones. He is my Shepherd and just like Psalm 23 says, 'there is nothing I shall want'.
He leads me to pasture in green pasture. Even in the presence of my enemies, He prepares for me a table and guarantees my safety. With Him I am safe and sound.
This is a song that is filled with so much comfort for any weary soul. Our Lord never abandons us. Even in the darkest moments of our lives, He remains with us to help us get out of those ugly situations.
But we need to entrust ourselves in His care. We need to acknowledge Him. We need to invite Him to take care of us.
I found the chord script of this song and I prefered to play and sing with it while making this video and here I accomplished this following the chord progression and I loved it.
It was therefore simple to sing along with and I enjoyed myself playing and singing. Dear friends, I hope that you would find this lovely and inspiring also just as I was. Thanks for coming around and for supporting.

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Hive Music Zone, mi nombre es @jesus-son y les doy la bienvenida a la segunda ronda de la semana 161 del festival de música de Hive organizado por esta increíble y próspera comunidad de Hive. Es mi más sincero deseo transmitirles no sólo una dulce melodía, sino también palabras que sean capaces de sanar cada corazón y dar consuelo al alma.
Como la semana pasada, esta semana también os traigo una versión de una canción italiana que me ha inspirado y que deseo compartir con vosotros. La canción se titula "il Signore è il mio Pastore", que significa "el Señor es mi Pastor".
Esto me trae a la mente lo que dijo el Señor Jesús en el evangelio y específicamente en el evangelio según Juan capítulo 10 de los versos 11 al 18. Allí Jesús habla de manera metafórica refiriéndose a Sí mismo como el Verdadero Pastor que cuida de Sus ovejas.
Usó esta analogía para describir su relación con sus discípulos. Él no es como cualquier trabajador asalariado que sólo se preocupa por Su salario, sino que es ese trabajador que está más interesado en Su rebaño e incluso en el peligro más aterrador, Él está para proteger a los Suyos.
Este canto que les presento hoy es uno que describe esa relación que el Señor tiene con nosotros sus amados. Él es mi Pastor y como dice el Salmo 23, 'nada me faltará'.
Me lleva a pastar en verdes pastos. Incluso en presencia de mis enemigos, Él me prepara una mesa y garantiza mi seguridad. Con Él estoy sano y salvo.
Esta es una canción que está llena de mucho consuelo para cualquier alma cansada. Nuestro Señor nunca nos abandona. Incluso en los momentos más oscuros de nuestras vidas, Él permanece con nosotros para ayudarnos a salir de esas situaciones desagradables.
Pero debemos confiarnos a Su cuidado. Necesitamos reconocerlo. Necesitamos invitarlo a que nos cuide.
Encontré el guión de acordes de esta canción y preferí tocar y cantar con él mientras hacía este video y aquí lo logré siguiendo la progresión de acordes y me encantó.
