Those are some healthy looking coconuts too. I would have to pay $3-$5 for one of those here , and only available now and then.

Yeah, I know things are expensive in Japan, and likely coconuts wouldn't cost much less than that even if they were growing across the street from you. Do you know if coconuts grow in Japan, perhaps the extreme southern islands. I've heard some of them are quite warm and tropical-esque.
