RE: 🚴 The Coco-Pirate of Suriname 🏴‍☠️ Saving Disrespected Coconuts From Disaster 🥥

Still fresh and young! I only see them as the brown centres. Is the coconut flesh already fully formed at this point? Is it easier to get out than when it's drier?

I wish you could help me out harvesting my plums. I've struggled to find the time and I bet they're past their best now.

I'm no wizard, but I can easily identify 4 or 5 stages with little effort. I think in total there are something like 7 or 8 stages coconut purveyors in Cambodia can easily identify. The easiest ones to open are fully immature, no jelly inside at all, and the water is not the least bit sweet yet. I love this kind the most much to the dismay of my family. These super young ones are still so soft you can almost slice them as easily as you can hack at them.

On the opposite end is the fully dry brown coconut. @Sreypov recently made a post showing how to open brown coconuts, and you can see it takes some strength and effort. They have to be dehusked, and they're so dry a sharp knife just bounces off like a rubber ball. Monkey-B uses her feet and all her arm strength just to tear a piece off. Let's get to pickin' your plums.
