I know my favorite author speaks of water with much emphasis than anyone else.

He said, "never bet on stability and lasting order, everything changes". He continued, "the best way to protect yourself is to be as fluid and as formless as water"

And I am happy you've reminded me of this advice today. This is the identity we need to hold unto as humans. No matter what happens, we should learn to change with the times instead of getting stuck in the past.
