I had to giggle at the thought of hitting rats with brooms to get into your apartment. Just so relieved you made it back to your girls.
I miss all the awkwardness, grossness, kindness, and all the -nesses that can be found in Cambodia. It still feels like the place we left, but Phnom Penh is out of control, full of endless skyscrapers and cranes. When we left there was only three tall buildings the tallest could be used a navigation tool. Now I don't even understand the skyline, so we'll be glad to get out to the countryside and simple living.
