It was good to go to something and as a relatively small arena in a small town, lots of people knew each other, so there was lots of catching up and a real party air. People were pleased to be out, with other people and enjoying themselves.
Although I was pleased to be there and enjoyed dancing, left to my own devices, I would have gone later and missed the support acts.
I also like smaller, more intimate venues and have done for years, I guess this is why I have drifted more towards jazz. I enjoy seeing the musicians playing, especially drummers and brass and wInd instruments. I like watching street musicians for the same reason.
Kebabs, they always seem like a good idea when you've had too much to drink! They certainly fill that greasy, salty spot. It was actually a very nice kebab, tasty and with lots of salad, but you need to drink a lot of water with them.
Funny that they are expanding to Japan, another 30 years (if we are still here and haven't burned the planet to a crisp) and Japan will have the life expectancy of Glasgow.
