RE: Another Improvement to Our Home || Laying Concrete Pipes in the Gutter

in ReggaeJAHM4 years ago

Reminds me of Cambodia, where even in the capital and most major cities, the greywater and sewage go to the same massive uncovered open canals. They are usually called sh?t rivers for obvious reasons, and property is usually available for very cheap on the sh?t riverside. There are even many popular cafes on these strips, but can't say I ever dared gamble eating at places like this.

Congrats on the enclosed system, hopefully it will help cut down on mosquitoes.

How do people practically deal with the possible smell? Or they just get used to it? Luckily this system is only for water disposal. As you already know, sewage is collected in concrete wells in the yard, that gets collected by some company from time to time, which is a weird system in itself if you think about it.

It will definitely help a bit with mosquitos, but not much since we have an open swamp like field behind the house.
