Not so directly I haven't, no. I would say that reggae music doesn't portray it too accurately, at least not most of the time. Well, one thing to note is that there are organized Rastafari movements which I would call a religion, and non-organized personal journeys which are more akin to spirituality.
I must admit that 95% so-called Rastas that I've encountered are not people I want in my inner circle in this life. I think the reason I've never made videos about my personal spiritual journey is that it feels a bit egotistic to do something like this. All the times in my life I've tried to share my take on Rastafari have been with hostility and attacks, so it's now a very personal thing to me.
Also, in terms of spirituality, it's much easier for me to have a conversation with questions than it is for me to just blab on and on about myself. I did even dabble with content like this on ReggaeJAHM, but the community is small and there is an egomaniac by the name of Luca1777 which feels threatened by such content.
I banned him from ASEAN Hive, NatMed, and ReggaeJAHM after he wouldn't stop harassing and trying to cyber-bully me, I think because he feels it threatens his Christian narrative of the world. Either way, the founder of ReggaeJAHM reversed my decision to ban him, and the guy wouldn't apologize for attacking me and my family, so I pulled out of ReggaeJAHM and sold all my tokens.
In a way potential Rastafari content died when I realized ReggaeJAHM wasn't a home for stuff like this. I would be open to something for your Cross-Culture community though. If you were up for it, I'd be glad to answer any questions you have, whether in post or 3Speak form if you think that might be a good idea....🤔
