What's that?

And to think that every region in India has different tastes, cultures, recipes, etc..... I'm now wondering from what region most of the (British) Indians in Suriname descent from. I do know some Muslim friends, whose forefathers have come Pakistan.

One ex colleague of mine is herself from India, like her husband found work here and they settled here with their kids. They are really full on vegetarian, so she almost never eats out and brings her own meals when we used to have activities that also involved food. Another ex colleague got to taste her "hand" and she said that the food was always superb. Now that I think of it, I should've asked her to cook for us one day and we could have compensated her for it, just to get a taste of authentic Indian cooking. I don't remember which part of India she's from though 🙈.
