Rising Star - 8th 12 Pack Opening - 1465 fans, 995 skill, 289 luck, 31 IM, 15 Unique cards + a robot bassist card - woot woot

in Rising Star Game3 years ago

I just opened my eighth 12 pack of cards on Rising Star - my fav game by a long shot !

Todays opening gave above average luck and uniques, but low fans (just below average), skill, IM and guitar skill compared to an average 12 pack opening for me. I was lucky enough to get an R200 Touring Coach with 550 fans. On the whole it was an ok pack opening.

The table below lists all of the cards I got - rares with fans are in yellow, and the orange denotes cards with guitar skill (thats the lessons I use).

Pack Summary

  • No epics - but the R200 Touring Coach has as much fans as some epics (550) which is good !,
  • 8 rares with fans, which is a little low, but the touring coach helped - with an overall fan count of 1465 which works out at 68.259 starbits/fan, which compared to the current lowest fan card on RSG Fam at 61 starbits/fan is not great. My average fans pulled per 12 pack is 1473 (67.88 starbits/fan), so this was close to average,
  • Skill was low at 955 compared to my average pull of 1254 per 12 pack,
  • Luck was 289 (same as last pack) compared to my average pull of 244, so not bad,
  • IM was 31 compared to my average pull of 33, so a little low,
  • I picked up 15 uniques compared to my average pull of 10, so quite high, but that is due to it being early in the month and just after new cards day,
  • I only picked up 1 guitar skill, which is what I use for music lessons. This is very low compared to my average of 42.
  • So good on luck and uniques, but low on fans (just below average), skill, IM and guitar skill.

By comparison to RSG fam, to buy the same amount of fans and guitar skill I would have paid 89422 starbits, so I've over paid by just over 10%, which is not ideal - however opening 12 packs is the funnest thing ever, so I will continue to do it !!!

I also pulled probably my fav card ever - the Robot Bassist - who wouldnt want one of them (I know a lot of bass players - trust me, you'd want the robot every time !):

I've kept a track of my card stats from all of my pack openings, as per the following table:

221005 summary.png

You can see todays pack in yellow, and then the totals and average at the bottom. So my average for fans is running at 67.88 starbits/fan, which is worse than what I would have paid from RSG fam at the time I bought the pack (61 starbits/fan) - so not great. To be fair if the market continues at 61 startbits/fan or lower, then it would be better to buy fans direct from RSG fam - so I'll have to monitor that going forward.

The table above shows my game stats summary, and compares to after previous pack openings, although player rank is not yet updated (it only updates once per day). So steadily making progress - so cant complain.

I had a lot of drunk fans when I recorded my stats so that is distorting how much starbits I can get from the band rehearsal mission.

Well thats my 12 pack opening excitement over for today - and I'm looking forward to the next pack already ! !

That Robot Bassit is so cool :)
I'm addicted to opening those packs even though most of the time it's better to buy the cards directly, but in that case, where would be the fun and the hope that one day we'll get a legendary ;)

Very true - its the same for me, its the excitement of opening the packs that makes it so worth while !!

Nice opening, quite a few uniques to add to the stack.

Aye - it was OK, the tour bus and the robot made it for me :)
