It's week #77 on @afri-tunes and I am excited to be here once again to present the cover of a song by Simi and Adekunle Gold titled "Promise".
As most people know, this song was dedicated to commemorate their wedding in 2019. The song is a "promise" to each other to stay together till their dying breath. The power of love can never be over-emphasized.
I attended a wedding a few days ago and I must say the whole ceremony was so lovely with smiles on everyone's faces. The bride and groom looked spectacular in their outfit and everyone present had fun celebrating their union. When they exchanged vows, we couldn't help but she was a year or two, and at the end when the bride was leaving and saying goodbye to her family, there were tears of joy all around coupled with lots of prayers.
The whole event reminded me just how beautiful love is, bringing two people from different backgrounds together as one. Love is indeed a beautiful thing and I prayed that their journey together would be blissful. Even if they encounter one or two challenges in the long run, they would have each other to rely on and get through it.
