Hi amazing people! This is my entry for week 37. I absolutely loved the song I chose, it brought out a lot of my vocal qualities, especially at the end. I stumbled upon it while searching for gospel songs from the ‘30s to ‘40s. It was written by Thomas Dorsey, often known as the legendary gospel writer, in 1937. Please sit back and enjoy, listen for the end especially, trust me.
Thank you yet again for this opportunity, @lordbutterfly @silentscreamer @verbal-d . God bless you!

Lyrics:
Well, I'm tired, and I'm weary, but I must go alone
'Til the Lord comes and calls me away, oh, yeah
Well, the morning's so bright, and the lamp is the light
And the night, night is as black as the sea, oh, yes
There will be peace in the valley
For me someday
There will be peace in the valley
For me oh Lord, I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble I see
There will be peace, peace in the valley for me, oh, yeah
Well, the bear will be gentle, and the wolf will be tamed
And the lion shall lay down by the lamb, oh, yes
And the beast from the wild shall be led by a child
And I'll be changed
Changed from this creature that I am, oh, yes
Oh, there will be peace in the valley for me someday
There will be peace in the valley
For me oh Lord, I pray
There'll be no sadness , no sorrow no trouble
I see
There will be peace, peace in the valley for me, oh, yeah
