RE: Market Friday Goes to Camping World

in #marketfriday7 years ago

Right! When we started looking, we were looking at small popup campers. Hahaha! Just to do short weekend camping trips. Then we kept looking at bigger and bigger. Finally settling in to the one we have. The size of our rig and having 3 dogs limits our choices of place to stay a little bit, but that's OK for us. If you are hoping to stay in National and state parks you find that most are not big rig friendly. So, that will limit your RV choices.

We've met a lot of people who still have a house somewhere and head someplace warm for the winter. That makes sense to do it in an RV.

We had carpeting in our rig when we bought it. We could never get it clean. We eventually ripped it out and put in vinyl flooring. It looks like wood and is so much easier to maintain.

Sort:

It truly is easier to maintain and I noticed that most of them did have nice tiled flooring as opposed to the carpeting. I imagine that may last a season or two.

I noticed that most parks are not too friendly with big rigs, so that will also be taken into consideration. Oh, who knew it was going to be this much trouble trying to figure this out!

I hope you don't mind if I bother you with questions once in a while! :)

I'd be happy to answer any questions that you have. There are lots of options out there, so be aware of analysis paralysis, having too many choices to make a decision! Setting your goals will help narrow things down. Best of luck on your search!

Thank you so much! That alone is a big help! It seems so easy, but, in fact so many huge decisions go into it!
