RE: "I Ain't Your Bitch Fellas!": Woodland Proposals For A Princess Who Glides Through Water

in #photography7 years ago

One of the reasons I decided to breed Fern again was because she was getting so nesty and the edginess which comes with it. Rabbits don't seem come out of it for long without mating or being spayed, however. She'd had a good break and I'm grateful this litter was a small, healthy one. She's been content since her day with Polar Bear too.

There are so many breeding concerns. The first pregnancy is always particularly risky for mum and further pregnancies aren't always guaranteed to go smoothly, either. I know of a woman who breeds boxers and always has them in for a cesarean because there's to much risk with a natural birth for them. Over breeding? Is it right keep breeding when they are no longer capable of breeding naturally themselves? It's a tough question. This woman is obviously very fond of her dogs and selective with their homes, but docking their tails and pinning ears doesn't seem to be an issue with her, where it would be for me.

Stuff like that would defo be an issue for me. Shanti has a lot of freedom and the DJ never tried 'training' her. She is very much an equal in the household and she is a delight to go on walks with - responds very well, doesn't wander far (unless chasing deer :). Training I think (apart from raising 'awareness' of dangers) is for the benefit of humans. When I hear complements given to humans about their dogs on how 'well-trained' they are, it feels uncomfortable, as if something has been extracted from the dog in the process. I'm not knocking it, folk will do what they see as necessary, but confining a puppy to even this would be an issue for me. I often shudder to think of how much human shit pets/animals in general have to put up with.

The MSH setup is different and I do not apply this to you. It's nice that you often know whom the bunnies are going to, that's how I'd wanna do it 🔆
