When it comes to communication, the social media has helped in making sure that information is well disseminated.
What is media
Media can be defined as a communication channels through which news, entertainment, education, data, or promotional messages are disseminated. Media includes every broadcasting medium such as newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, billboards, direct mail, telephone, fax, and internet. Media is the plural of medium and can take a plural or singular verb, depending on the sense intended.
In today's world, we have seen how this media has helped in ensuring that we are updated with various information from all field. The media over the years has wax stronger and stronger and was able to keep up With innovations and Invention. It is with this invention that gave birth to a system called decentralized app. The decentralized app has been a game changer and some has offered what a centralized system can't offer which is censorship. Communication and reward have tossed the coin fair in part of dapp lovers. Seeing that you can interact and earn at same time is what has caught the interest of so many individuals. With that in place, Esteem, a decentralize app was born.
Esteem is a decentralized blogging platform that is built on top of the steem blockchain. Since it is built on top of the steem blockchain, it means you will be rewarded with the native token from the steem blockchain, which is steem or steem dollar.
With the Esteem media, you are free to share your content and the community will decide if is good or not by the upvote they will give the post. Esteem on their own, ensures that you are been rewarded with an upvote if you make a post with their dapp. The essence of the up vote is to act as encouragement and motivation to those using the dapp. But nonetheless, this upvote is not compulsory/mandatory but is just issued out as a means of showing appreciation. In a situation where you are not voted, just continuing using the dapp.

When it comes to the steem blockchain, esteem is one dapp that you just can't over look. This great media dapp was created by @good-karma and It currently occupying number 9 in the state of the dapps list. You can check that record here.
Some of it features aside the traditional features like voting, resteeming, posting and commenting include, as follow:
i. Settings: It includes, more settings, adjust voting weight, notifications, languages, connections etc
ii. Push Notifications: It include, Real-time notifications for mention, comment, transfers, follow,vote, un-follow etc
iii. Multi-accounts: set profile and cover pictures, location, website, about info.
iv. Follower Tracking: Search new follower's profile, posts. discover new users etc

Secure your profile/app with additional PIN code and backup your passwords.
Features are selling point of any dapps. I am going to explain how the esteem features works.
i. Multiple accounts: One good thing about a dapp is that you can decide to have multiple accounts. If you feel is cool by you, then is cool. Esteem offers multiple accounts login option, i.e you can have different account login in into same esteem dapp. These features are just so wonderful, below is a screenshot showing it.
ii. Settings: This features offers a lot of things. You can set up notifications for vote, comment, etc and as well set up the 4 digit security pin.
iii. Follow: This features allows you yo easily see those following you. With this tool, you can as well follow back.

If you read above, you will understand how this up vote system works. There is a community bot and esteem curators in place to ensure that this service is running efficiently. What happens here is that the curators drops your post to the bot, and you get voted at the end. If the curators didn't see your vote, there is little or no chance of getting voted.
Mind you, you must make the post through the esteem dapp if you want to stand a chance of getting voted.

To enjoy #Esteem dapp, offers, you have to first of all register on the steem blockchain. You can do that by visiting steemit.com. At the top right-hand corner, click it and click sign up. Wait for your keys which might take days or weeks.
Assuming your registration is complete, download the esteem app from google through the link I provide above.
Now click Login and input your master/active keys and username. It will log you in, set up your profile, and start blogging with it.

Esteem ecosystems is waxing stronger, no wonder a lot are lingering for the birth of the esteem v2.
Getting notification from comment, Resteem, vote, follow, unfollow etc has been challenging with other dapp like steemit etc. Esteem has helped to ensure that we aren't missing out on any activities when it comes to the steem blockchain.
After making a post and you hit the post button, the post will not appears immediately. And if it appear, it will not display the pictures, this is looking like a bug. I have hinted on this issue before and will be happy if it is rectified.

When it comes to media publishing dapp, esteem, a steem blockchin dapp, has proven to be a dapp that you can always trust.
