Hi guys! Some of you might remember me. I was participating at Tomas’s daily challenges almost every day in the past. Now it is already 4 months since my last post. I have to admit, I missed Steemit! My today’s entry is with my favorite place in America, and maybe in the whole world… That is Yellowstone National Park. You maybe saw photo like my before. That hot spring is one of the most famous in the world, called Grand Prismatic Spring.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

@travelshots Asian Sunday entry:

The "Starlight Bridge" is located at the outskirts of Saigon, in a very quiet, modern quarter that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Once the sun has set, the bridge transforms into an artificial waterfall that is illuminated in bright colours - simply adorable!

@fotogruppemunich Australian Monday entry:

My picture was taken in sydney last winter. It was a great moment during the sunset at the harbor to walk and enjoy the beauty of the city. I was lucky that the sun went down just behind the showboat.

Qurator's Photo Friday #67 - Purple Dream. Sunset at some alien planet out there in the endless Universe. In fact this is winter sunset at Baltic Sea taken through Singh-Ray color polariser. A touch of long exposure brings even more surrealism to the final result. Enjoy it!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #78 - winner announcement!

@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:

On a recent trip to Namibia we got to climb dune 45. Dune 45 is part of the world's largest sand dunes, located in the Sossusvlei desert. We climbed up it at sunrise, it was amazing climbing up through the morning fog, then to watch it all clear away and realised how high up we actually were.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #78 - winner announcement!

@itchyfeetdonica European Thursday entry:

You might have heard of Neuschwanstein Castle, which inspired Sleeping Beauty’s castle in Disneyland? This famous palace was commisioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat on a rugged cliff in 1868. What impressed me the most was how it blended into the stunning natural settings around.

Natural feature typical of Mexico, cenote is a sinkhole that formed naturally after a limestone bedrock above it collapsed. There are more than 6,000 cenotes just on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, many of which have been opened to public. This photo was taken at the Yax-Kin Cenote that is located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

While I was driving in Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada) I saw a group of big horn sheep . I stopped the car I took some pictures. They were eating along the road, it was nice to see easily so much wild life. This species of wild sheep is native of the Rocky mountains.

I consider the black & white format enhances the image since you can appreciate better the textures on the fur of the animal.

Golden Gate Bridge
During our first stay in San Francisco we always had fog and mist around the bridge. So the pleasure was even greater when we arrived at the bridge with this beautiful weather. The weather can be crazy in SF ;)

In the heart of Beverly Hills, three blocks of Rodeo Drive are home to the epicenter of luxury, fashion and lifestyle.Rodeo Drive hosts a collection of exclusive events ranging from luxurious jewelry festivals to seasonal holiday spectaculars,etc.

Taken in Lake Louise, Banff National Park. Most just stop and take a picture of the picturesque view at the front of the lake, there is a trail that goes around the lake to the back all the way to the end of the lake that is generally hidden in the landscape when looking from the front.

One Cloud Day
During the Monsoon Season convection can occur at any time of day or night depending on conditions. The most beautiful time of course is around sunset, but more often than not the light is blocked by clouds. This isolated early stage thunderstorm formed quickly in the late day heat, fully exposed to the setting sun. Revealing the nature of the storm.

Hi all,

Here is one famous picture I captured from my Visit to Niagara.
The wonderfull Ferry drive into the "Maid of the Mist" takes you right in front of the majestic Niagara Falls. It's an amazing experience to witness the mist of Niagara Falls. The Ferry takes you till the Horse shoe falls and stays few min where you experience the water falling all around you 😊

One of the most famous American emblems, a great bike that I had the chance to admire in a Vegas casino . I can only imagine winning it and being able to drive it.
