So how exactly does one go about joining this flag trail? Forgive me, I've never joined a voting trail before.

Also is there a way for tiny accounts like me to limit the amount of VP it will use? I often find myself with high VP even when I upvote lots of stuff, but I wouldn't want this to subdue my ability to upvote quality.

        You can join the steemflagrewards discord and ask for an invite to the flagtrail discord. You can limit the vp you use (say no flags if u get under 80% vp) and you can even limit the amount of SP the person you flag has (my max is 10k sp) so if someone with over 10k sp gets flagged my flag will be excluded
