Us goofing around the office this afternoon after a mini-celebration of our boss'50th birthday...
It was a busy day which started early for me... Did some exercises, and even recorded some of my activities to share on Twitter for @nathanmars' #seven77 movement. Will perhaps share that vid tomorrow...
9 o'clock
I got a call from my colleague, my boss' EA who informed me that he (boss) will be here in Abu Dhabi-- last minute intimation. It's his birthday today and though he normally comes here on Wednesday's, he did not confirm any meetings. I think it's because he knows that we will prepare for his birthday and he wants to avoid that.
The Cake Pursuit
Nonetheless, we still pulled it through... Together with @ghie16, I went to get the cake. We had to go to 3 places to find a good cake, intentionally skipping LA Brioche in search of other taste. We ended up at Dome Cafe and got whatever cake they had available.
Took a pic of the cafe's ceiling while waiting for the staff to prep the cake we bought.
Unsure of whether the cake would be good, we asked if we can try the cake. We were treated with this big slice for free!
I was not to happy how the cake we bought turned out. It looked too amateur for me.
Hmmm.. Not as we expected...
Anyhow, there's 50 candles to blow we had to move on.
So there! The team with my amazing boss...
