RE: Last trip. Finish The Story Contest - Week #50!

A dark path glimmering with the glint of a knife, I really like this one.

The words appearing between the children, the implication behind them, just a beautiful way to set the chilling tone here. The moment when the attendant is revealed as part of this just ups the horror so well, suddenly it feels like there was never any way out for her. And the ripping off the clothes, it seems like an appropriate detail given the reference to the clothes in the first half. The tattoos, somehow feeling both human and supernatural, are the perfect contrast to the statement about vampires and werewolves.

You have some really fantastic lines in here that just add to this feeling.

Joelle's life quickly slipped through her wound

You have some wonderful horrifying descriptions in here, and the gradual amp up of the horror is fantastic, i just really love the way you have taken this story, the dark depths to which it descends and the ending awaiting her <3

Hi! I always appreciate your super-comments too. I have to tell you, this time I almost don't have any chance to read the other posts because of the problem with power cuts and blackouts in my country.

I'm glad you had the time to read my post.

I don't usually write horror or suspense stories, because I really don't like it. Generally, when I write I must enter the life of each of my characters to understand their motivations and to somehow give them life. You will imagine that I don't enjoy getting into the life of a serial killer.

But I guess the conditions in which I am living, all day and night without electricity. In the light of the candles that move the shadows and a darkness that seems eternal, so much that it is the same to have my eyes wide open as to have them closed. They inspire stories of that nature.

Thank you very much!

Ohhh i am so glad you do <3 (I worry a lot about if I say too much and if its off putting or if people think i am being, i dunno, I just love to worry lol) but no obligation at all to read the others!

Glad to have crossed paths with you again ;)

Now that is the very reason I enjoy writing horror, I can never resist a little sympathy for the devil, putting myself in those shoes and thinking about why someone may be like that, the pressures that pushed them to this point, and so prime for morals ;) but you do an awesome job of the more humorous horror here, even more impressive given the position you are writing them from!

Gosh I am impressed you are getting online at all! Trust you to take such a dire situation and find a positive, well as much as I enjoyed your venture into horror, i hope life becomes more happily inspiring (although I also realise, a situation far from hope being of any help) and you get chance to cook me up something for #tellastorytome <3

I'd like to write something for #tellastorytome

Awww woo yeah can't wait to see what you come up with!
