Welcome to my page hiveans, I'm @daniky, and this is my entry to hive music festival week 147 round 3. Today, i decided to go on an original piano cover of my song titled "A moment I can never forget." This song reminds me of the moment i was involved in an accident. It was a moment of pain mixed with thanksgiving. It was a moment i nursed excruciating pains in my body system that lingered for months before i got healed, and it was also a moment of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life. Though we all sustained different levels and degrees of injuries and lost valuable properties but we never recorded any loss of life.
For a vehicle to tumble into a dish and no life was lost, is more that enough to appreciate the goodness of God, as well a moment i can never forget so soon. What happened to me during the accident was what might have likely happened to someone, and they died. Being alive is the greatest gift of man that shouldn't be taken for granted. One needs to acknowledge his Maker for sparing his/her life and it's the more reason i went on to compose a song of appreciation for God's alms of preservation in my life at the unexpected event of incident.
Many situations had happened to us in one way or another. You might have been involved or experienced an accident or disappointment or battling with one health issue or the other, for the fact that you're alive gives you the grace to tender your appreciation to God. It gives you the moment to reflect and see every reason to be grateful. worldometer shows us the daily statistics of those living and dying by the seconds. We're not better than those who are deceased. The best of talents are not from those who are still living but in the grave yard. Be grateful.
That moment is a moment i can never forget God's preservation and goodness over my life. It was a moment of panic and imbalances, but despite all, God came through and had mercy on me. So it is a moment i can never forget.
My take on this is for us to live well and be good to all irrespective of our differences. Show love to those in pain and the less privileged because you never can tell their level of discomfort. Be empathetic and kind, and by so doing, we'll make this world a better place.
